First Advanced Analytics Seminar in Slovenia

On Thursday, 29th May, the first Google Advanced Analytics Seminar was organized in Slovenia by Red Orbit, Google Slovenia and Technology Park Ljubljana. The main purpose was to provide businesses with in-depth insight into what they can gain from using web analytics in complex digital ecosystems (tablet, mobile, desktop users).

Same visitor across mobile and desktop

Key speaker, 20+ sth., Pawel Matkowski, Analytics Regional Product Expert @Google, held the audience in suspense during the entire presentation about new features, used in universal Google Analytics that show anonymous engagement activity across different screens and visits to your site and provide a more user-centric view of your traffic. It also enables new Cross Device reporting that shows how users interact with your web page across multiple devices. With an opening line ‘This will not be one of those motivational speeches’, his presentation, au contraire, spurred questions and increased level of involvement. On the whole, the key message about the importance of advanced analytics and its tools for increased web conversions was passed on, leaving nothing more to be wished for. Hope it becomes an annual thing!
