To present the project’s approach to a more agile Cloud and exchange ideas about future virtual infrastructures such as HPC, MIKELANGELO’s technical coordinator, Gregor Berginc, from XLAB, will be joining the session on “New approaches for infrastructure services”, held at the Cloud Forward Conference 2015 in Pisa, on 7th October.
MIKELANGELO is resolving the most pressing issues of virtual infrastructures. A consortium of partners work hard to improve I/O performance and security of virtual machines, to provide comprehensive and holistic monitoring and to integrate hassle-free application packaging and deployment.
The benefits of MIKELANGELO technology stack and the progress made are continuously being tested and validated in realistic scenarios – the MIKELANGELO use cases which span big data, high performance computing, OpenFOAM and cloud bursting.
